Mike Groves - Filmmaker Bio

Mike Groves is a Director/Producer/Cinematographer attending Montclair State University’s Filmmaking BFA Program. Influenced by the self-made youtube-era of filmmaking gurus such as Erik Beck(Indy Mogul) and Ryan Connolly (Film Riot), Mike came into filmmaking from special effects makeup and props. Throughout his short career, Mike has helped produce and DP several sci-fi genre short films. Googaas premiered at the Hiway Theater in December 2018, Rushes premiered at the sold out Philadelphia Film Showcase in January 2019. Left Behind was nominated for the Best Cinematography award and won the Best Student Award at 72 film fest 2020.
